Wired charging is great for a quick top-up, but for convenience at a desk or bedside table, wireless charging is unmatched. The vivo X300 Pro supports incredibly fast 40W wireless charging, but hitting those peak speeds requires specific hardware.
Here is my breakdown of how wireless charging performs on the X300 Pro.
Reaching the 40W Wireless Peak
Unlike standard Qi wireless chargers that max out around 15W, vivo’s 40W speed requires proprietary technology.
To hit the 40W maximum, you must use the official vivo 50W Vertical Wireless Flash Charger (or the older 50W model designed for the X Fold/X100 series). When placed on this specific stand:
- 0 to 50%: Takes roughly 32 minutes.
- 0 to 100%: Takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
For a battery packing 6510 mAh of capacity, charging to full wirelessly in just over an hour is genuinely impressive and beats the wired charging speeds of many rival flagships (like the iPhone 17 Pro Max or Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra).
Standard Qi Compatibility
If you don’t want to buy vivo’s official wireless stand, you can still use standard Qi wireless chargers.
- The X300 Pro falls back to standard Qi speeds (usually between 10W and 15W) on third-party pads.
- At 15W, charging the massive silicon-carbon battery from 0% to 100% will take nearly 3.5 hours.
- Therefore, standard Qi chargers are perfectly fine for overnight charging on your nightstand, but entirely impractical if you need a quick top-up during the day.
Reverse Wireless Charging
The X300 Pro also supports reverse wireless charging. You can turn the back of the phone into a charging pad to juice up your wireless earbuds or a friend’s dying iPhone.
To enable this:
- Go to
Settings > Battery > Reverse Wireless Charging. - Toggle it on.
- Place the secondary device squarely on the center of the X300 Pro’s back panel.
The output speed is relatively slow (usually around 5W to 7.5W), so it is best used in emergency situations or for small accessories like earbuds, rather than trying to fully charge another smartphone.
