I don’t review or recommend accessories I don’t personally own. The vivo X300 Pro is an expensive piece of hardware, and the massive camera bump requires specific protection. Below is the gear I rely on daily to protect the phone and enhance my photography workflow.
Cases & Protection
The included silicone case in the box is decent, but I needed something with a bit more grip and better camera protection.
- My Daily Case: I use a third-party aramid fiber (carbon fiber style) case. It is incredibly thin, adding almost no bulk to the already large phone, but it features a raised metal lip that wraps completely around the circular ZEISS camera module. This is crucial for preventing scratches on the glass when laying the phone on a table.
- Screen Protector: The phone comes with a factory-installed TPU film protector. Because the screen is curved, tempered glass protectors are notoriously difficult to apply correctly without UV glue, which I avoid. I am sticking with the factory film until it peels, at which point I will replace it with a high-quality hydrogel film.
Chargers & Cables
While the phone comes with a 90W FlashCharge brick, I don’t carry it everywhere.
- Travel Charger: I use a compact 65W GaN (Gallium Nitride) multi-port charger from UGREEN. While it doesn’t hit the absolute peak 90W speeds of the proprietary vivo brick, it still triggers “Fast Charging” via the Power Delivery (PD) protocol, topping the phone up quickly while saving space in my bag.
- Wireless Charging: At my desk, I use a standard 15W Qi wireless charging stand. The vivo X300 Pro supports up to 40W wireless charging with vivo’s proprietary stand, but for slow, trickle-charging while I work, any standard Qi charger works perfectly.
Photography Kits & Grips
Because I use this phone primarily as a camera, ergonomics are important.
- Bluetooth Camera Grip: I use a magnetic (MagSafe compatible) Bluetooth camera grip by Ulanzi. To make it work, I applied a thin metal adhesive ring to the back of my aramid fiber case. This allows me to snap on the grip, giving me a physical shutter button and a DSLR-like hold on the phone, which drastically reduces camera shake when shooting with the 200MP telephoto lens at 10x zoom.
