# Editorial Policy

> My strict editorial guidelines for maintaining objectivity and trust on this site.

Trust is the foundation of this website. Because I built this site to combat the rise of low-effort, AI-generated spec recitals, I hold myself to strict editorial standards.

Here is my commitment to you as a reader.

## 1. Zero Paid Reviews or Sponsorships
I do not accept money, sponsorships, or free hardware from vivo or any other smartphone manufacturer in exchange for coverage on this site. I purchase my devices with my own money. This allows me to write completely honest [Reviews](/vivo-x300-pro-review/) without worrying about upsetting a PR department or losing access to future embargoes.

## 2. No AI-Generated Opinions
While I may use tools to check spelling or manage code deployment for this Astro framework, the core content, opinions, and experiences are 100% human. If I say a specific [OriginOS feature](/software/) is frustrating, it is because I actually experienced that frustration. I do not use Large Language Models (LLMs) to hallucinate product reviews.

## 3. Transparency in Affiliate Links
Although my primary goal is to provide a free knowledge base, maintaining servers and buying hardware is expensive. In the future, if I link to [accessories](/accessories/) (like cases or chargers) via an affiliate program (such as [Amazon Associates](https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/)), I will clearly disclose that relationship at the top of the relevant page. However, I will never recommend an accessory that I do not personally own and use.

## 4. Factual Corrections
If I get a technical detail wrong—for example, misunderstanding how the [Silicon-Carbon battery](/battery/) manages heat—I will correct the text as soon as I am made aware of it, rather than quietly deleting the mistake.

## 5. First-Party Verification
Whenever discussing highly technical engineering features, such as the [camera](/camera/) optics, I strive to link to authoritative first-party sources (like ZEISS or MediaTek) so you can verify the underlying science behind my real-world observations.

If you ever question the objectivity of an article, please feel free to [Contact](/contact/) me directly.
